Featured today: HS-A02
The world's only fully ceramic headshell. Light and incredibly strong: twice as rigid as the next best headshell that we measured! Includes silver litz wires, all the hardware. Customers say, "HS-A02 is simply the best headshell I have used. An essential audio component if you are serious."
The SPU Classic sounds better than in the [competitor's tonearm]. Far more at ease. For me, the Korf and my Volare has signed a contract for a long period of time.
Sounds fabulous and looks wonderful with the Garrard!
The tonearm has a great authority over the SPU and idler drive. And it looks stunning too !
The arm is performing very well indeed. I've used an SPU Royal N and a rebuilt Transfiguration Proteus (with Gyger S stylus) so far, no issues with the compliance. Surprisingly, given the price difference, the SF9R is giving the [$10,000 tonearm] some stiff competition.
With everything dialed in and set up on the CNC measuring table and levelled with sprit gauges- absolutely killer! Much better than the FR-64.
With the Ortofon MC Anna cartridge, TA-SF9R sounds amazing. I have had some very expensive tonearm/cartridge combinations, and some of them do have better performance in certain areas, like soundstage size and authority, but I hear slightly more room and 3D information with the Korf/MC Anna combination. All in all, I am very pleased with this. I have never heard the MC Anna sound as good as it does now, in my system, even with much more expensive tonearms.
A soundstage expanded in every direction -side-to-side, up, down, front, back- emerges from a totally black background. The combination of the Korf straight arm (already amazing) & ceramic spacer is a winner, lightyears ahead of what it replaced. Marvelous.
The flexture bearing, the steel tube, the spaced vertical bearings, the ceramic headshell—all made sense to me . So here we are, presenting a state of the art performing, and classy looking no fuzz turntable, which really really works. They all work, but this one sings, shines and rocks!
Very well made tonearm. Sounds transparent, airy, full range, not edgy, but precise and fast.
Everything is both more accurate to the source material and simultaneously more pleasing which is hard to achieve in audio. The Korf TA-SF9R probably represents the best value in hi-fidelity audio, easily besting tonearms that cost several thousands more with smart engineering and elegant execution.

What Makes Korf Tonearms Special?
The Korf tonearms are a clean sheet rethink of what a tonearm should be. We focused on our audio priorities: quality of motion, rigidity, low energy storage, signal integrity, stability and longevity.
Many analogue enthusiasts believe that the cartridge's compliance should be precisely matched with the tonearm's effective mass. But what if we measure what happens when there's a supposed mismatch? Is there a tracking-busting low frequency resonance?
